Bourque Industries Kryron Terminator armor has been rigorously tested at US military facilities and National Institute of Justice accredited laboratories and has been shown to meet or exceed all applicable ballistic armor performance standards. Through ongoing testing, we continue to optimize our hard armor solutions to remain at the leading edge of ballistic technology development.
Terminator armor is capable of withstanding multiple high velocity impacts in the same location, performs consistently across the entire surface of the armor plate even for half-on/half-off edge shots, and eliminates ricochet and spall; claims unmatched by any other hard armor manufacturer.
Lightweight Terminator armor is highly durable. The innovative nano-metal and polyethylene construction makes Terminator products much more rugged under extreme operating conditions than ceramic material competitors. Terminator armor is resistant to fluids, temperature and shock, high-altitude pressure, and fungal growth.
Level II Ultralight Terminator Armor
The new Ultralight provides proven multi-impact and edge-shot protection that exceeds NIJ Level II standards in a compact, lightweight package (12.2 ounces for a 5 x 8 plate). The Ultralight defeats .44 Magnum rounds – much more powerful than a standard 9mm and .357 Level II ammo – at close range within the NIJ-required back face deformation standards. And with the Ultralight, the plate performs equally well across the entire surface, even for half-on, half-off edge shots. This revolutionary innovation increases the effective size of the Ultralight by a full inch in each dimension when compared to the competition.

Level III In-conjunction (ICW) Terminator Armor
Designed for everyday operational use, the Level III-ICW armor system combines a lightweight Kryron Terminator hard armor plate with a Level IIIA Kevlar vest, providing reliable, multi-impact protection against 7.62×51 NATO or 7.62×54 Russian at close range with minimal back face deformation and without ricochet or spall. All in a durable package that – unlike standard-issue ceramic – will not be compromised by rough handling.
Level III In-conjunction (ICW) – Multi-impact rifle protection when used with IIIA soft armor
Defeats rifle threats up to .308 (7.62×51) ball when used in conjunction with Level IIIA vest including: .223 (5.56), .243, .270

Level III Stand-Alone Terminator Armor
When the situation calls for extra protection, we’ve designed the Level III Stand-Alone armor system. Ideal for frontal assaults and close quarters engagements, the Level III Stand-Alone can sustain literally dozens of impacts from large-caliber rifles at point black range with no penetration, and without ricochet or spall. The Level III armor system can also be modified to produce ballistic shields or provide after-market armor kits for light vehicles.
